And that's also making you be pre-diabetic--you should have that tested. Or it might be that you don't have PCOS at all, but that your weight is messing up your period by causing your estrogen to be too high as compared to your progesterone--fat cells produce estrogen, leading to hormone imbalance. I don't know which is the case for you, but maybe you should stop the progesterone only and use condoms or sponges until you get to see the doc again.

Here's another idea that has come to mind over the past few years. How would y'all feel if the NHL required all players to wear the clear shields on their helmets? Now I fully understand that some people don't like them, saying it hurts their field of view and all that, but I think that's a very small price to pay in the name of safety. There is a bit of a block that I have been going through thinking about my image. I am in high school and I have started to read up and I keep seeing the repeated notion that girls are only attracted to "bad boys". My problem is that according to others I seem like one of the most stable and "nice" guys they can find. The girl I like wrote how much she appreciates me in her birthday card. (" I can't believe someone like me met a person like you.") For a little while, ever since i started reading and believing the "nice guys finish last, bad boys get the girls" mantra, I am conflicted about whether to change or not. She is not in the "popular crowd" but has the same ring of friends i do. For a little while, during the end of the school year, I wanted to adopt a "bad" persona and see where it got me. First off, I seemed a lot more dangerous to all the other guys. I was more aggressive, more easily engaged in fights, and more daring. Since the stereotypical bad guy is "adventurous", i started to do stupid things like arguing with teachers, giving them attitude, and challenging what everyone said. I started looking for rules to consequently break them. I wasn't treating all the girls the way i used to..."Respect and Caring, thoughtfulness" but rather the way a "" would (in a mean and cold fashion.) Since bad boys get the girls I think that i should change to be like that. Many people have noticed the polar change in my personality. When i was a super nice-guy, i wasn't wimpy or anything i still acted masculine etc but i just treated girls with respect and love. Feeling like a bad *** gave me good feelings even though it looked like people around me didn't like the new me, since i was meaner and more aggressive to them. The girl i like never saw my new persona because my character change was an experiment. My question is, since girls only like bad guys, should i just adopt my new, yet more hurtful persona. I'm 20, and grew up during the Hanson craze. It's funny, I was watching one of The Jonas Brothers' videos, and I hadn't really thought about it, but they're like Hanson for the next generation. By no means am I trying to bash The Jonas Brothers or Hanson, I just think it's kind of funny how similar they are. Both groups have (had, in Hanson's case) the high tenor voices, with Nick having the highest and pretty obviously the star of the group, just as Zac was pretty much the star of Hanson. I wouldn't worry that she won't sleep on her belly. Some kids wont. Just put her down the way she likes. As far as entertainment I wouldn't worry that she doesn't like the swing or walkers. Just lay her on a blanket with some toys and let her try to roll around. She should be sleeping more but it's ok, let her set her schedule as long as she isn't keeping you up all night. For feeding, it might be time to try to introduce her to cereal.

Where to relocate?

I grew up just outside Minneapolis and although I've relocated since then, I thank God everyday that my parents chose to raise me there. Not only are people "Minnesota friendly" but I feel that they hold morals and religion in high regard and aren't quite as materialistic as say people from NYC or LA. Should I wake up my baby if her nap is too long?

My almost 5-mth-old is not sleeping well at night because she wouldn't sleep in her own crib and when I put her to my bed we both are not getting enough sleep. I tried to put her to her crib again this morning for her morning nap and she still wouldn't fall asleep by herself. Is it really worth paying 700 quid for a pair of Louboutains?

All these people are nuts. I don't know how much 700 quid is when converted into USD, but his shoes are worth every penny! The only shoes I wear are Louboutin's. I have several pairs that I spent over $1000 USD on & they were well worth it. His high heels are the only ones I can wear for hours & hours without my feet hurting, plus I LOVE the red sole! His shoes will last you forever, so it's well worth the investment. Instead of getting several pairs of shoes just invest in one pair of Louboutin's in a basic color like black or white. How long will it take before I start seeing effects from anorexia/bulimia?

Besides the obvious low weight (I'm 5'7, 120 lbs now, not too low, but I've kept that weight even as I've grown in height) I really can't pinpoint any other negative effects my eating disorders have had on my body. I'm 15, male and if you took one glance at me you wouldn't be able to tell I was anorexic/bulimic. I've been doing this for two years now, and I never feel an acidy feeling in my throat, my teeth are healthy, I don't smell bad, I haven't broken any bones, and whatever other side effects ociated with these ED's, I don't have. Now, I'm not saying I'm immune to them, because I know if I keep going like this they'll eventually show up. However, how long will it take? How long can I keep this up? Am I slowly destroying my heart, my liver, or my kidneys? Keep in mind I've been doing this consistently for 2 years (daily). I'm trying to stop (I'm seeing a psychologist and my parents are really trying to help me) but it's incredibly hard. Thank you!

I've been in college for about 2 years now and I have not been doing the best I can. I am considering buying a Triton B boat but I am concerned I will not be able to tow it with my small truck. I have a 1995 Nissan Pickup Truck. It is a straight drive 4 X 4 and is only a 4 Cyl.. What is causing my abdominal pain?

Two weeks ago ....three days before my period my tummy started swelling up. It was worse then regular bloating and hurt, I kind of looked pregnant. Then once I got my period i had cramps that were 10 times worse then they normally are. My doctor tested my liver but it came back normal. My period has ended and im still experiencing pain in my left side around my hip bone and sometimes my right. I think I am going to request a pelvic exam and ultrasound because I think this might be a uterus/ovaries problem. Both my aunt and grandma had to have a hysterectomy because of Fibroids on their uterus. Has anyone experienced problems like this and can give me some advice on what it could be and if im requesting the right tests? My doctor isnt giving me any suggestions on what could be causing the pain.

Why is there a dirt floor under the bathtub?

We're looking at buying a house and during the inspection we found a small access door in a cupboard behind the guest bath. When we opened it we saw the underside of the bathtub and what appears to be a large hole in the slab on grade foundation with several pipes coming up from the dirt floor. I have tried to find why they would leave a hole in the foundation here. My best guess is to better access a any clogs in the S shaped curve of the tub drain (which would be underground) but I don't know for sure. I board my horses and donkey at a stable where there are friendly people and people who are snobbs. Methanol is only harmful to engines if you let it sit on the engine components because it is a type of alcohol that attacks and corrodes metal parts unless it is burned. Since your gasoline engine was not designed to run this fuel, it will get harmed overtime. Methanol is primarily used on specialized engines. Though i'm not clear on the procedures for car sized engines, rc/nitro engines needs to be cleaned after every use with WD-40, etc so the alcohol does not harm the engine. Also, it is not as flammable as gasoline.

I'm getting a zune 80 GB soon. I've never had a zune before and I've only ever owned one other mp3: a 2 GB ilo from Wal-Mart. For my ilo I got my songs from my own CDs, Walmart.com , emusic.com, and Amazon.com. My songs are all mp3 or wma format, both of which the zune takes, and they are stored in my Windows Media Player. Will I be able to use these songs on my zune? When I get the zune if the zune software doesn't have a song I'm looking for , can I download a new song from wal-mart or amazon and put it on the zune? Vista to windows seven?

a little while ago i bought an emachines W5233 computer so i could be some what up to date. the only problem was that it came with windows vista which slowed the mid-low range ( now mid-range with 8500) considderably. this problem was promptly solved a week later when i put another harddrive in and installed XP on it. my SATA vista hdd is just sitting in there collecting dust and i am thinking of formating it for the sake of higher bandwidth. the only problem with that is there is some data on that disk that i would like to keep thats not too important. im anticipating on getting windows 7 when it comes out because it is supposed to run as fast as xp with all the prettyness and dx10 support as vista. so the question is should i format my SATA drive and use it for xp or do the upgrade thing with vista when windows 7 comes out. thx

Shotgun chokes?

28" barrel is considered long by many. I always liked the 26" I know many that use the 28" and switch chokes to shoot trap. The choke is to taper the end of the barrel to concentrate the shot to a tighter pattern. I use an improved cylinder choke for skeet and either a modified or full choke for trap. The improved cylinder gives the largest spread short of just cutting the end off the barrel. That would be open cylinder. The modified is a tighter pattern and the full is used when you need to reach out further. For Skeet I like to use #9 shot and for trap 7-1/2 shot. If you are comfortable with a 28" barrel keep with it. Many say I should use a semi-auto or over and under. I perfer the 870. The pump has always been the best for me.

Terrible Shin Splints, PLEASE HELP!?

I am a lacrosse player, and when we ALWAYS play on cement. And after about two minutes of running, I get terrible shooting pains that go up and down the in side of my shin, right before the muscle. And they hurt after, but not nearly as bad. In between running, while on the bench it hurts so much I can't stand. After the game, it only hurts when I walk. Please you have to help me. This is SEVERLY affecting my ability to play the game. I do stretch them before by putting them on theground with my thighs overtop, and laying back, if you get what I am saying. Level with him - he keeps the other guys in line, lays off the Mt. Dew, and in return you'll give him some raisins. He'll do *anything* for those raisins. Like I said though, that sugar glider might be in on everything, too. You better hope he doesn't decide to rebel against the chinchilla, otherwise you're in BIG trouble. And, if he finds out your bribing the chinchilla, he'll get really p-ed off - there's NO negotiating with a p-ed off sugar glider! They'll take down anyone and anything that gets in their way. Can anyone help me find Cabot Cheese mini's or the snack packs in Connecticut?

Cabot Cheese sells the little snack pack mini's in 2 flavors Sharp Cheddar and 50% Reduced Fat Cheddar I believe. I have bought these while at the Vermont Country Store in Vermont, but I live in CT and it's a long drive to VT just to buy some mini cheese bars. Most supermarkets sell Cabot cheese, but only in the larger bar that you need to slice up yourself. I'm looking for the mini one serving ones. I called Cabot Cheese this morning and I was given a list of stores that could carry it - A&P, Big Y, Wholefoods and Highland Park. I am going to make stops by some of these places, but hoped someone could save me some time. I actually went to A&P in Old Lyme and they don't have them. I've bought other cheese sticks like Cracker Barrel and Sargento, but let's face it Cabot is a million times better. They come in packs of 8 or 36. Thank you!
