How do you answer to "i love you"?

Sometimes in that situation someone will tell you they love you because the "normal" response would be "I love you too". I would never tell anyone I loved them if I didn't so I would just say "Thank you" because it's always nice to know you are loved. You may not love them back but I think it's important to validate the other person's feelings.
