How to handle horse-boarding-stable snobbs.?

I board my horses and donkey at a stable where there are friendly people and people who are snobbs. Normally I ignore the snobbs, but they speak to me in a condescending tone and scoff at what I say and do. They talk to me only when I am working with my donkey foal and really it is a pain when they do this...and I think they know it....because I am trying to focus on training my foal at the time. They say "Why are you doing thaaaat" and "Well if I were you then I'd do it this way because well I've been riding forever I know this works better" I don't think I should have to explain myself to them, maybe I would talk with them if they were friendly, but they are not and I really don't like these ladies now anyway. I am not sure what to say to them and how to say it. I want things to be peaceful for me and my animals when I am at the ranch.
