I understand that paying high prices for petrol as a result of the war is rather inconvenient, but...?

I am honestly perturbed at the fact that the reason many people are against the war is that they are being forced to pay more for fuel. Don't you think that the people in the Middle East who our government is destroying who live in constant fear of bombings and persecution have it slightly worse than the fate of paying more money for gas?
