I think Henry David Thoureu was a naturalist and didn't believe that what we owned really made us any better thats why he says of false men and hevenly comforts. He meant that having things doesn't necessarily mean its truly necessary. These false men are the same people calling the shots now. The people that have all the great heavenly comforts.
