Of course, she has a valid point...you can leave at anytime. Although you say you won't, she feels that at the moment she isnt sure if you are really going to stay around. It would also be bad for her sons to get used to having you around, when you might not be there one day. If you really want to be with them, then i guess you have to show her that you really are committed to her, and her sons.
