A low interest loan that you have to pay back over a 10 year span after you graduate from college or drop below half time enrollment status. The "Subsidized" means that while you are in college, the government pays the interest for you so the amount you owe doesn't increase during that time. Subsidized loans have the lowest interest rate on the market and are a pretty good deal if you have to take out loans to attend college.
